Experiment Study on Self-amplified High-Power Klystron

Abstract: The experiment study on self-amplified high-power klystron is carried out in the microwave system of BFEL. The performance of the self amplified klystron including output power, frequency, frequency stability, buildup time etc. is measured by modalating its feedback parameters. The experiment results show that the self amplified klystron can be used as one of the microwave sources in electron LINAC for the industrial application.
