Theoretical Analysis for Energy Resolution of Johann Monochromator

Abstract: A theoretical analysis for energy resolution of Johann monochromator is made, and several estimation formulae corresponding to various geometry conditions are given. Comparing to some other conventional formulae, the formulae given in this paper show a better agreement with SHADOW ray tracing results.
