THE GAS GAIN OF PROPORTIONAL COUNTING TUBES

  • In this paper the gas gain of proportional tubes are discussed.On the basis of analysing several calculation formulas,another α/p-E/p relation and correspondent formula of gas gain is proposed.The theory is compared with experimental data of BF3 and CH4 proportional tubes.
