DESIGN AND TESTS OF A PRESSURED "PIERCE" TYPE HIGH GRADIENT ACCELERATING TUBE OF 250 keV

Abstract: A "Pierce" type pressured accelerating tube has been manufactured in our laboratory. A 240 mA pulsed beam was obtained from this tube at 250 keV. The design and the tests of this accelerating tube are described in detail.
