Abstract: Superdeformed rotational bands in 191-192-193-194Hg are analyzed by means of the Uqp(u2) model. An overall and excellent agreement between the calculated and observed spectra Eγ, kinematic moment of inertia J(1) and dynamic moment of inertia J(2), the aligned angular momentum (i=ω(J(1)(191-193-194Hg)-J(1)(192Hg))) is obtained Further more, the nuclear softness in 191-192-193-194Hg are calculated by means of the Uqp (u2) model and drawn into the nuclear. configuration analysis.
