Progress in the Detection of Cold Dark Matter Particles

  • The dark matter in Universe, its class and candidates, and the significance of observation are briefly described. The methods and results and its progress of detection for the cold dark matter particles are reviewed, in particular, the observation of DAMA collab. (Beijing-Rome) gives the new limit on WIMP search and the firstannual modulation signature: m> =0.037±0.008 cpd/keV. kg, the eshmated WIMP mass=60GeV/c2. It is possibly the hint of the existence of WIMP.
